In December of 2006, my father underwent brain surgery as part of his treatment for Parkinson's. During the process he had several MRIs. The doctors gave me a copy of one of those MRIs on disk and these animated 3D lenticular prints were created. The images feature 18 of approximately 192 "slices" from the brain scan. These frames were time compressed and blended to make the 18 used for the lenticular interlacing. This series is entitled Deep Brain Stimulation, referencing the surgical procedure. The prints measure 10" x 10".
